• we met when we were in fourth, he was from up north, white of course
• our friendship has no metaphors, I hate stores, he never had chores
• we were wild on the horse, not a Porsche, never remembered the scores

• he left, we didn't stay connected, I felt tempted to feel neglected
• I felt tempted to feel offended, but accepted our exit as he headed
