Lyrical Analysis of...

The Ghostwriter, A Tale

  1. CHAPTER 1:
  2. hilly area, thick and deep dark layers of clouds
  3. thunderstorms and lightening are crashing
  4. there's a small hut
  5. two graves in the backyard..
  6. both of them are believed to be of the owners
  7. one of them is dug out by someone
  8.  
  9. there's a voice in my head telling me to go to the mailbox, its on repeat
  10. so... i went to the mailbox and i found a mail
  11. the voice is now telling me to read it
  12. i was also curious to know what happened at that place, so i   started to unfold the page
  13. a fierce rage took over my conscience when i saw the sender's name, the mail gave me clues in form of memories flashbacks.. this is what made sense to me as I was reading it:

  15.                      "The Killer for Good"
  16. Flashbacks!
  17. A friend.... We're laughing...
  18. eyes blink
  19. I'm lying on the floor, which is painted with blood...
  20. someone's still laughing...
  21. eyes blink
  22. a voice "they say that the seed of peace will only grow on the soil that is fertilized by decomposition of your heart"..
  23. eyes blink
  24. swings a shovel on my face... thud
  25. back in my conscience

  28. i went inside the hut and picked up a pencil from a pocket of the coat that was lying on the floor (somehow i knew that i would find a pencil in that coat)
  29. i started writing... my anger is getting more and more intense as i am writing,
  30. my reply to the letter:

  32.             "The Killer of Good My Rebirth"
  33.  
  34. Flashback!
  35. it's a callback, escape of the scapegoat
  36. I'm going to relapse (re lapse, relapse) and I'm gonna start from your throat
  37. what about that seed.. did it grow peace,
  38. or was it a deceit and it rot,
  39. down to my grave? i tore it back (tore is an anagram of rot) up
  40. wide and crawled outside
  41.  
  42. I was the snape (Severus Snape, Snape) of your spell,
  43. didn't we dwell on our wills?
  44. Arghh! how did i miss when you rebel (Me as rebelX)
  45. and snapped (now you're snape) the ends,
  46. and i spilled (and I'm the spell/spill) on the floor
  47.  
  48. get ready to pay your bills when you hear the bell,
  49. and without soul will you walk through that door
  50. (the last whistle/bell that will cause death to all human beings, Muslims will understand this indication as its related to Our religion )
  51. prepare to sell your soul to the Devil.. your own, THE GHOST
  52. Adios!

  54. *The last line indicates that the writer is actually a Ghost who is addressing me. (rebel)
  55. The last line also indicates that the ghost is a devil, that's why i killed him (with a shovel) and now he's back to seek his revenge.
