Lyrical Analysis of...
Remembering The Hood Riot (by: Viper)
- My vision is clearing up, it's chasing away the blurriness/
- Don't remember, but the doc says there's disturbing bits/
- He said these cops attacked me, they said I deserved this/
- The gave me all these sturdy hits and I needed services/
- I deeply tried to figure out what happened in the past/
- All I see is a tall dark figure stood still, it had a mask/
- I hear ringing and faint explosions, I see blasts of flash/
- There were children screaming from a scary ghastly hag/
- As a matter of fact, I remember being in the streets/
- The street lights beaming orange and the lead police/
- They're running around part of the between elite/
- Attacking the gang, I retaliated, Cops were beating me/
- I see the cops strangling the guys on the hoods of cars/
- Tied locals up, shoved them in the back seat, looked bizarre/
- Instead of capturing they beat me senseless, I took the part/
- Had a knife with me, grab a cops neck, I shoulda carved/
- I tried to sit up in the bed wired up and my crew's here/
- They supported me, I was badly hurt, they soon feared/
- We needed to get our act together with the goons near/
- It's been a long time but I'm back and it's a new year/
