Lyrical Analysis of...
In A Better Place
- 0:47
- I beat depression, I'm in a better place to keep reppin'
- Elevate my game, no rest, until I get a Jeep Lexus
- Was suicidal, but I'm never someone who is idle
- I improved, and I'm as close to Jesus as Jude in the bible
- I know I tend to be over estimated but
- Go test your fate, and I guarantee my bars go over heads for days
- Ever chill while I'm in conversation, or congregation
- But in battle, my obligation is to become a monster, Satan
- Couldn't measure up to my weaponry
- If you diss me, then you set the devil free
- Yet, every day I try to stay at peace mentally
- I beat my demons, now I'm trying to be a better me
- Technique still raw, best beat still forged
- It's unfortunate that UMG is still law
- But whatever, I'm better than fretting over money
- And I definitely don't molest or bet over honeys
- I've faced and neutralized suicide twice
- Now I'm faced with the question: Who is my fight?
- Well, you bet that I'll be ready for whatever comes next,
- I'm forever prepared, I'm one who's never at rest
