BUILDING BLUEPRINT

Next level lyrical insight is a moment away.

  1. //Intro//
  2.
  3. Hey everyone, back for another album made by KO Doomzday
  4. His last album was fantastic, I gave it an 8.7 and now
  5. Going off the description alone, I think this might be an improvement from it
  6. So excited for this one, anyway let's get into it
  7.
  8. //Track 1: Long Time//
  9.
  10. Great intro track, the lyricism shown is great, the flow is good as well
  11. The skit is decent, helps get the story and fill in the blanks
  12. The rapping overall is something of great beauty, no meat riding
  13. Pretty great this track
  14.
  15. I feel a: 8.2/10
  16.
  17. //Track 2: Breath Easy (Freestyle)//
  18.
  19. I'm not going to lie, I'm shocked this is only a freestyle
  20. It feels like a fully thought out track, the lyricism and rhyme schemes are
  21. Top notch, the flows is incredibly good, it's one long verse but oh my word
  22. Is it good, the rapping is better than his previous track
  23.
  24. Overall: 9/10
  25.
  26. //Track 3: Middle Class Life//
  27.
  28. Another incredible track, he was not lying when he said there are just
  29. Lyrical bangers on the album, nothing more, nothing less
  30. The rhyme schemes and lyricism paired with the flow is great
  31. So far so good
  32.
  33. Feeling a: 8.5/10
  34.
  35. //Track 4: Struggle Evolution//
  36.
  37. This track may be the weakest so far, not because its bad or anything
  38. More because its the least lyrical, and the weakest flow
  39. But its still a good track, not the best on here is all
  40.
  41. Overall: 8/10
  42.
  43. //Track 5: Leisure (w/ Symbiote)//
  44.
  45. This track is great on KO's side of things
  46. The lyricism and flow he brings to the table is great
  47. Symbiote has great flow but his lyricism needs some work
  48. Everything else is great from him just the lyricism is weak
  49. At least compared to other lyricists on this record
  50.
  51. Overall: 8.6/10 still great
  52.
  53. //Track 6: Done Proved Myself//
  54.
  55. Incredible track, the lyricism is some of the best on here
  56. The flow is everchanging and non repetitive
  57. The rhyme schemes are nice and cohesive, this track is just great
  58. He's at his best on this track, no doubt
  59.
  60. Feeling a: 9.2/10
  61.
  62. //Track 7: Point Of View (w/HarryTrevPev)//
  63.
  64. KO's verses bring more of the same from Done Proved Myself
  65. The lyricism and rhyme schemes are fantastic, the wordplay is great
  66. The flows are not his best but still good and nice to read
  67. Harry's Verse is incredible and packed with rhymes and lyricism
  68. Great flow as well, he really brought his A game to this track
  69.
  70. I'm thinking a: 9.1/10
  71.
  72. //Track 8: Breath (Interlude)//
  73.
  74. Nice, short and sweet, the track feels more like a verse
  75. The rapping and lyricism is pretty good and for an interlude
  76. This track is great, one of the better interludes I've seen
  77.
  78. Overall: 8/10
  79.
  80. Track 9: Need Wrath//
  81.
  82. This track is the most like his previous projects like, Bubonia and ACWNG
  83. Great structuring and placement, though it sacrifices a bit in lyricism
  84. And flow, but its still a great track I think you should read
  85.
  86. Overall: 8.3/10
  87.
  88. //Track 10: Got Ya Self Cornered (Interlude)//
  89.
  90. This track is great, back to more of the same great lyricism and flow
  91. From this LP, this track may be one of the best interludes I've read
  92. The rapping on it is incredible overall, feel like the album is kicking into
  93. Final gear
  94.
  95. Feeling a: 8.9/10
  96.
  97. //Track 11: Str8 Lyrics//
  98.
  99. This track is perfect for what its meant to be
  100. A lyrical banger with incredible flows and unpredictable rhyme schemes
  101. Dizzying wordplay, with some of the best bars I've seen in a while
  102. This track is fantastic and may be the best one the album
  103.
  104. I'm feeling a: 9.3/10
  105.
  106. //Track 12: Sky's What You Stand On (w/ HarryTrevPev)//
  107.
  108. Remember the previous track, yeah this track may be better
  109. KO has arguably his best verses on the whole LP with the best flows
  110. The lyricism on them is next level and introspective at times
  111. Some of the best rapping from him
  112. Harry's verse is also one of the best on the mixtape, the flow, lyricism
  113. And rhyme schemes, are top tier and insanely great, the song, a chef's kiss
  114.
  115. I'm feeling a: 9.5/10
  116.
  117. //Track 13: Separate Art From The Activist//
  118.
  119. This poem is incredibly deep and introspective
  120. Its great and heart paining, its gut wrenching, you can see the pain
  121. In his words, he's not trying to sugar coat anything he is saying
  122. This poem is the most incredible thing on the whole mixtape
  123. I Love this track more than anything on here, its one of the best I've seen
  124. On this site, maybe the best I've seen
  125.
  126. 10/10
  127.
  128. //Lyricism//
  129.
  130. The lyricism is the best I've ever seen from KO in his career
  131. He brought the best he could throughout the whole mixtape/LP
  132. I don't think many could match the pure lyricism he brings on here
  133. He is one of the best lyricists I've seen on here
  134.
  135. Overall: 9/10
  136.
  137. //Flow//
  138.
  139. It's good, nothing to be mad about with the flow
  140. It may get repetitive at times, but those are few and far between
  141. Other than that, the flow is good, certainly not bad
  142.
  143. Overall: 7.6/10
  144.
  145. //Cohesion//
  146.
  147. It's quite cohesive, not as cohesive as his previous project
  148. But still very cohesive and nothing really feels out of place
  149. Quite the great thing actually, nothing to not like here
  150.
  151. Overall: 8.1/10
  152.
  153. //Choruses//
  154.
  155. They are more consistent on here than his previous work
  156. But that's many because there's less of them on here
  157. They are all good choruses, not a single mid or bad one on the LP
  158. But mainly because there's less which means more consistency
  159.
  160. Overall: 7.7/10
  161.
  162. //Verses//
  163.
  164. The verses are a thing of beauty, the combining of good flow
  165. Great rhyming and great wordplay, no bad verse throughout
  166. Some verses are better than others, but when the rappers are at their best
  167. The verses are incredible, whether it's a lyrical verse from KO and Harry
  168. Or a flow heavy verse of Symbiote, it's always at a minimum decent
  169.
  170. Overall: 9/10
  171.
  172. //Instrumentals//
  173.
  174. Most of them are quite chill and calm, really just ear candy most of the time
  175. Really nice and rich instrumentals throughout, no misses or weird placement
  176. Love the instrumentals and beats
  177.
  178. Overall: 8.7/10
  179.
  180. //Final Thoughts//
  181.
  182. This record is definitely better than his last project, which was incredible
  183. The pen game on here was beautifully done, no meat riding
  184. The tracks are great on their own, not held by the albums narrative
  185. Maybe this is also his best project ever, maybe even better than TPAT
  186. Which is a classic in my eyes, in my opinion this is a
  187.
  188. //Score//
  189.
  190. Giving this a: 9.1/10
  191.
  192. Did you love it, hate it, like it, dislike it, let me know what you think
