- Each subject and its verb must agree in number (singular or plural).
- Criteria, data and media are plural.
- Names of teams and musical groups should be treated as singular if the
- name is singular, plural if the name is plural.
- In determining whether to use good or well, remember good goes with a
- noun (person, place or thing), well with a verb (action word).
