Lyrical Analysis of...
I Don't Know
- Used to loathe to hate,
- Used to think that rap was stupid, there was no debate,
- Used to care about the people, how I don't relate,
- Used to care about the women, not to procreate,
- I've been waiting for a chance to be professional,
- Telling every man that lived like a confessional,
- Then my mind went straight from distant to obsessional,
- And now I'm crashing every gathering and festival,
- But the best of all, now nobody seems to doubt me,
- If they know me from the rap, they don't know anything about me,
- Not that I don't wear the golden medals people can bestow me,
- But the shine is far too bright for anyone to try to know me,
- Rap haters can blow me, I'm sick of their opinion,
- Sick of every bandwagon pants saggin minion,
- Getting hives, worker bees can sting at their expense,
- I survive without the kush, money, bling and nonsense,
- And I'm not saying that I'll change the game,
- I already know I got too strange a name,
- I'm just saying that I'm gonna go and spit the flame,
- And know that nothing that I say is gonna hit the same,
- Babe Ruth probably could of called that,
- People that were in the game could see me tryin' to maul that,
- Never knew a rap career could serve me a fall back
- Congratulations from the skeptics riding on my ballsack,
- Used to preach a sermon,
- Used to breach the gate as I beseech my workin',
- Used to reach for hate when they impeach my lurchin',
- Now I keep them waitin' while my girl's peach is twerkin',
