  1. The interquartile range is one of the kings
  2. This is used to find the average range for several things;
  3. Such as the size of shoes, clothes and rings.
  4.
  5. To find the middle number, the median
  6. Chance the numbers from the smallest to the biggest
  7. You don't need to be the quickest
  8.
  9. Now when you have four quarters and three median
  10. Pat yourself on the back and get a snack
  11.
  12. The median can now be called Q2
  13. Keep working don't say adiue
  14.
  15. We should call the other medians Q1 and Q3
  16. Now you can get yourself a cup of tea
  17.
  18. To get our interquartile range we need to subtract
  19. Don't lose your tact we will get through this it is a pact
  20.
  21. Q3 minus Q1 will give you the answer you wanted
  22. The size of clothes will be good so don't be daunted.
  23.
  24. We now have our IQR
  25. To make it easier we will make it into a graph
  26.
  27. It is called a box and whisker plot
  28. This will make our data for our clothes look nice Jackpot!
  29.
  30. You have now found the average rage for clothes
  31. So now you to know what your customers will choose.
  32.
  33. So now lets make some examples
  34. I went to find clothes and i got some size samples
  35.
  36. 2,4,8,12,16 was the sizes that I found
  37. So the median would be 8 all year around
  38.
  39. Q1 would be 3 since it is in the middle of 2 and 4
  40. Q3 would be 14 now that we have our numbers don't walk out of the door
  41.
  42. Now subtract 14 3 to get the number 11
  43. Now we have the IQR this is heaven.
  44.
  45. In the box and whisker plot you include the Q1, Q2 and Q3
  46. The normal rage would be between Q1 and Q3
  47.
  48. We will also include the highest and lowest number
  49. Q1 is 3 Q2 is 8 and Q3 14 and the highest number is 16 and the lowest 2
  50.
  51. There now we are done and now we know how to find the interquartile range
  52. good job well now that wasn't so strange.
