Lyrical Analysis of...
Statistics rap
- The interquartile range is one of the kings
- This is used to find the average range for several things;
- Such as the size of shoes, clothes and rings.
- To find the middle number, the median
- Chance the numbers from the smallest to the biggest
- You don't need to be the quickest
- Now when you have four quarters and three median
- Pat yourself on the back and get a snack
- The median can now be called Q2
- Keep working don't say adiue
- We should call the other medians Q1 and Q3
- Now you can get yourself a cup of tea
- To get our interquartile range we need to subtract
- Don't lose your tact we will get through this it is a pact
- Q3 minus Q1 will give you the answer you wanted
- The size of clothes will be good so don't be daunted.
- We now have our IQR
- To make it easier we will make it into a graph
- It is called a box and whisker plot
- This will make our data for our clothes look nice Jackpot!
- You have now found the average rage for clothes
- So now you to know what your customers will choose.
- So now lets make some examples
- I went to find clothes and i got some size samples
- 2,4,8,12,16 was the sizes that I found
- So the median would be 8 all year around
- Q1 would be 3 since it is in the middle of 2 and 4
- Q3 would be 14 now that we have our numbers don't walk out of the door
- Now subtract 14 3 to get the number 11
- Now we have the IQR this is heaven.
- In the box and whisker plot you include the Q1, Q2 and Q3
- The normal rage would be between Q1 and Q3
- We will also include the highest and lowest number
- Q1 is 3 Q2 is 8 and Q3 14 and the highest number is 16 and the lowest 2
- There now we are done and now we know how to find the interquartile range
- good job well now that wasn't so strange.
