Lyrical Analysis of...
My son
- Hiding in attics waiting for the knock see the blue and red waiting for my moment
- when i'll have to squeeze off a shot whenever i gunned you know that i had to make
- myself run for my enemies they will alway's be coming i can't run away when my
- homies always be fronting and never be stunting supporting my kid that life isn't the life
- for him that i wanted see him working the corners slinging them keys and alway's looking over
- his shoulder worrying about the bullet where as i want to see him in an office writing
- down bullets i killed peeps for him someone should forewarn him his dad is a killer
- and never will he know him i had to skirt away and leave to do his own growing
- cause the life of a ganger isn't what he needs to grow into someone who succeeds and making people
- bleed isn't the only thing that makes the green used to go out and eradicate whole
- family's like a disease came home one night after i got a shot in my arm and
- my kids still kicking god bless him like a sneeze every day i hear him in my mind
- see him divine growing as big as a vine and that i could never kick seeing something
- of mine growing and toiling with eyes blue as the sky eyes wide with curiosity
- i hope they never lose their shine because for my son i will always think of him whether
- i'm toothless or dying i killed macks for him for things i care about i'm ruthless no lyin
- the truth is in the deep cold blue called my eyes the winter inside never left my brain
- severed but when i rolled the insults off my back is when it left you boy's beveled
- and in the pain i rebelled a silent personal kind of hell one that left you
- screaming it seems through a dirty well a wall of water leaving you drowning
- and haunted for my son none of this i wanted i needed him to grow up with someone
- kind to support him other than his homies and his gat as his only wards
- of protection for him i wanted a new lifed birthed out of the flames a Resurrection
- a measured life is now what he's heading towards so for him mission complete
- no regrets for what he's destined
