- Then the argument got too aggressive and they pulled out the pistol
- and then he turned into Lennon. They learned you only get 1 life
- There ain't no substitution and all they see on the news is about
- a shooting. When they asked how they felt they kept refusing
- But they knew soon that, God will make the pain go away
- they gave him a grave next to the highway
- But then on the 12th day there was another shooting
- They called it a double play
- To them the skies look grey
- The Docs needed to do an X Ray
- While they were there they got some food on their
- Cafeteria trey but in someway they had to maintain
- They knew tomorrow was a new day
- But their Grandpa was putting cigs in the ash trey
- Months went along the youngest one got caught in a tag along
- His dogs were selling drugs from Hong Kong
- Even after he got caught he still carried on
- Living the life that his daddy never wanted
- selling drugs and using them to stay blunted

- Every morning he'd wake up to see an old pair of sneakers on the

- He'd see drugs in the hands of minors and see people in their
- wife beaters being the supplier. He was the only that didn't own a lighter
- He was the family provider. His little girl would cry because of the
- violence. And to be honest it was frightening. And it seemed like everyday
- 9 1 1 was the number they were always dialing. And the violence started
- to Spiral. So much the whole hood own a bible. Every week it was the
- same cycle they would wait for the ambulance to pick up the body. Then
- they would find someone with an UZI they knocked the door down to his
- house and asked who's he. They found him in his cadillac with a gun
- then he opened the door on the other side and started to run
- the 5 0 shot him on his back, and blood started to pour from his cap
- The cops said let this be a lesson. Even months later the whole hood
- still couldn't get back to repression. His whole family went into a deep
- depression. And let's not forget to mention. How his son kept getting in
- detention. But soon he realized his dad was looking down at him in
- heaven. And when we would wash the dishes, he would see his father's
- reflection. That moment would change the direction. Soon they thought it
- would be okay
