Lyrical Analysis of...
FAMILY
- i've been took from my mom at my old school i heard over the intercom that i have a appointment and that was disappointment,
- when i saw the DSS workers i didn't know what to do besides curse and say my prayers and tears started rollin down my cheek and i didn't know weather to speak to this freak,
- I was scared i wasn't prepared to come here i came here so i could be safe and behave cause i have faith in god it's just me and my squad,
- my mom told me to be a family and work together and we can be better than we are now like wow,
- just keep your head held high and you will soon say goodbye,
- Don't let any thing get to you it's gonna stick to you like glue i hope you can continue with negative i know it's hard on ya'll and other people are like see ya like really bra,
- i grew up in gossip and people where doing drugs mean mugs,
- i was raised in the struggle in the struggle everything was unstoppable, and we were humble and nothing was possible,
- I lost everything but i then i came to crossnore and then i completely lost her,
- it will never be the same nothing is a game i feel like it was my fault but it really was not and i almost got shot,
- i really really miss my dad i wonder if he's sad that we're spread apart and it breaks my heart,
- but mom don't you want to see your babies grow but that was 6 years ago,
- people think they know what i've been through i can not continue,
- you told us they were coming to get us and i cried you did nothing to try,
- you said you would call dss if we didn't stop acting up and what i saw from my point of view is blood draining down your face i wanted to scream and shout hurray but i didn't cause i love you more than anything mom i just had to stay calm,
- why would you leave us,i was to young to understand where you at huh i love you mom
