Lyrical Analysis of...
First Rap: A Little About Me
- I'm walking this path, not a moment to relax, I'm just trying to rap, my feelings and that,
- people say I ain't black, but I know that screw that! Races don't matter, but what's on the notepad
- but I digress, not a moment for rest, I need to reset, I gotta take the test,
- and test to testify, breathe in a new light, meditate like a Jedi, leave alone the Dark Side,
- try to figure out the why's, and disguise, the evils I recognize, otherwise,
- I can't rise, reach for the skies, touch the stars just don't let them burn your innocent eyes,
- grab your dreams and hold on, you're left to your own device, to deal with the darkness and demise
- of the bad guys, good guys, don't always win they sometimes die,
- you have to deal with disappointment, wake up and realize,
- that reality ain't a game, sorry to say it's real life,
- tears you will cry, you'll hear plenty of lies,
- before I'm done here gotta rap sixteen lines,
- so here goes a few more, you won't find all the why's,
- you just gotta accept rejects watch the world through spider eyes,
- this is the very end of my rap, sorry I gotta fly.
