BUILDING BLUEPRINT
Next level lyrical insight is a moment away.
Lyrical Analysis of...
Writer's Block
- Thirteen reasons why I need to apply
- No logical reason to deny
- Illogical, depression is a form of repression
- The minds own question
- Too stuck in the back to raise one's own hand
- Too far back to explain what one has planned
- For the future, a metaphorical suture
- Juncture of mind and body so close to connecting its testing
- My patience, as I look out that glass window
- Where all the kids outside call me a weirdo
- Stuck in a glass house
- Mom on the ceiling
- Dad in the living room sleeping
- With me waiting to break out
- Steal the car, go around the roundabout
- No more need to get wasted
- Make everything else the faintest
- Wouldn't someone notice I'm gone?
- Maybe Ill just leave a cardboard cutout
- And go take a break in the dugout
- Three strikes and your out
- Why do parents always have to shout?
- Maybe its society
- Something so ingrained it can't be explained
- Like my words
- As I look out this window pane
- As if its a mirror reflecting my pain
- A writers block so obscure
- Doctors say im just premature
- Get past 18 you'll get over it
- Then no reason to cause a slit
- As I break this house in to shards
- Take one up, its just one more scar
- Or maybe I'll be Hannah Baker
- Ain't no reason greater
- Can't write it on this paper
- Because I have writer's block
- If depression is just a means of repression
- Why can't I just end this session?
