  17. and middle class people get angry, debatin' all your views,
  18. and they mistake my frustration for hatred all confused,
  19. they would be ragin' up too with a day up in our shoes,
  20. it doesn't matter if it happens in the projects, Section 8,
  21. where you qualify for Medicaid, we're are left to wait,
  22. it seems that the crime rate would never ever change,
  23. it fills up my chest and my mind with this hellish rage,
  24. there's never peace on the streets, it's all a mind state,
  25. that ghetto youths need fast cash, so our crime rate,
  26. and as I walk these mean streets, I walk through Hell,
  27. I guess that those youths need someone to talk to, Hell,
  28. and will these problems be fixed? Only time will tell,
  29. but when you have nothin' around you but rocks to sell,
  30. and that provides, then you gotta take advantage of it,
  31. but damn, some people like it, they understand and love it,
  32. and I stand above it, though I have the essence of streets,
  33. it seems that no one understands, there will never be peace
