Lyrical Analysis of...
POEM HELP THE NIGGA
- Poem About the Nigga
- It all started with a word
- “Nigga”
- Light Nigga, Dark Nigga, Faux Nigga. Real Nigga
- Rich Nigga, Poor Nigga, House Nigga, Field Nigga
- Still Nigga, Still Nigga
- Nigga stands for
- No one Is gonna give anything
- As in no one is gonna help
- Gonna stand behind or fight for us
- We call ourselfs nigga because we know the truth
- No one is gonna give anything to us
- This is most commonly found in songs
- Songs that reach out and touch the soul
- Like back when slaves sang songs of encouragement
- And to keep on truckin
- The ‘Man’ has given us a bottle of Negativity to wash away the pain
- But like kanye said
- “The plan was to drink until the pain over
- But what’s worse the pain or the hangover”
- Also said
- “My 15 seconds are up but i got more to say
- That’s enough Mr.west that’s enough today”
- And to that i say
- that’s the same stuff they tell every nigga
- Everyday i see the ratio of space to nigga get bigga
- And every nigga dream is to at least make a figura
- Tricked into thinking we can only do that with some weed, some rage,
- and some guns to pull the trigga
- Now how you view the Nigga in front of you
- Is totally up to you and there is nothing I can do
- But Educate
- Everyday a so called Nigga dies male or female doesn't matter
- Everyday a Nigga says to themselves, “Fuck School” and dropout
- Everyday a Nigga becomes a victim to a cop, or goes to jail, or even dies due to another Nigga
- It’s sad
- I just wanna say help
- Help Nigga
- Help The light nigga, the dark nigga, the faux nigga, the real nigga
- Help the Rich nigga, the poor nigga, the house nigga, and the field nigga
- Because we still Nigga
- Until someone helps us
- But till then
- We Still Nigga
- And No One Is Gonna Give Anything
- To a NIGGA
