Lyrical Analysis of...

What Is Freedom?

  1. VERSE 1:
  2. Being white, it's shameful, it's like everything I say's attached,
  3. those histories of misery, I can't try and erase the past,
  4. plus everyone around me is a motherfuckin' lazy ass,
  5. whose primary concern is just to hustle and to blaze the grass,
  6. everything my people did, I wish that I could take it back,
  7. and rise up and rebel against these forces like slave attacks,
  8. or maybe I'll just watch us distribute drugs and lace the crack,
  9. face the facts, 'cuz honesty is somethin' that our nation lacks,
  10. and every time I save a track and make 'em mad, faze 'em bad,
  11. I think about effects of human nature and its flaming wrath,
  12. I likely will be chased through hell with missiles raining ash,
  13. and probably I'll resort to doin' shit for cash like Breaking Bad,
  14. let's get it on like Desert Storm, the Pentagon for steppin' on,
  15. our rights, fight 'em back, the white and black with weapons drawn,
  16. testing bombs on Lebanon, I'm guessing wrong, the Echelon,
  17. that flooded streets with crack is comin 'back, it was never gone,
  18. we'll sever arms, they'll transform this nation like Decepticons,
  19. we'll rest 'till dawn, words are weapons, Megatron's weapon arm,
  20. listen to the lyrics that are written when my pencil's drawn,
  21. then we'll rise and fight like warriors 'till sunset like Elton John,
  22. that's the masterplan, to brainwash at least half the land,
  23. with rappers, crack and gats in hand, send drones to Pakistan,
  24. apparently we're sharing this generic plot of blessed land,
  25. soon the government will have programs for genetic strands,
  26. that's why I truly mean it when we I say words are weapons,
  27. it's absurd they're testing, "freedom"? Is it a curse or blessing?
  28. that's why I'm tearing 'em, and carrying the message of truth,
  29. mixed with pain, anger, and hateful rage, the essence of youth,
  30. that's why I talk of civil rights, our freedom, and rebellion,
  31. I've been to hell and back to hell then back to the hell again,
  32. with our backs against the wall, we're stacked up 'till we fall,
  33. just know that we will fight for rights when battling them all
