CAGE
- //HOOK:
- I can ride my bike with no handlebars,
- no handlebars, no handlebars,
- I can ride my bike with no handlebars,
- no handlebars, no handlebars
- //VERSE 1:
- Poor, uneducated whites, they get the blunt of the tricks,
- we're fucking redneck crackers, making fun of the shit,
- dumb hillbilly backwoods hicks, trying to mask our past,
- we're filled with low income toothless moms, NASCAR dads,
- the trailer park dwelling, ditch digging, late to pay the rent,
- nearly homeless racist ignorant people, not making sense,
- we're barely making dollars at our peanut jobs, close to me,
- is Southern culture, still we got our fucking jobs overseas,
- I guess that it's supposed to be, while Catholics got rosaries,
- and Methodists got money, Baptists suck, roll the weed,
- and smoke it while you're cooking meth, it flows with ease,
- and goes over our heads, politicians screaming "vote for me",
- Republican's won't do shit, they just dupe us for easy green,
- we're stupid and confused, blow the fuse on the TV screen,
- stereotypes are everywhere, and Democrats perpetuate 'em,
- featherweight, zombies rose dead awake, they resonate 'em,
- violence in our minds through our spines makes us levitate,
- to new levels of ignorance, makes us hard as metal plates,
- janitors and cooks and guards and tellers, that's bad news,
- no doctors and lawyers or nurses and cops, just fast food,
- and retail clerks, we shop at Walmart, and grind around the,
- clock, check to check, and our friends behind the counters,
- shit, all that is sad? Ain't it, for those people who never made it,
- shit, that's most of America, with neighborhoods devastated,
- hawk up venom, I'm a street poet through rigorous times,
- I'd rather conservatives take us than these bigoted minds,
- those pseudo intellectual middle class hipster liberals,
- portray us when they make us all the rednecks and criminals,
- it seems our whole image's jeopardized, we ain't recognized,
- let's leave the rest to die, and if you testify, it's best to lie,
- I'm talking about the rigged systems, we're lashing in rage,
- with every stereotype against us like we're trapped in a cage
