Lyrical Analysis of...
Macbeth
- uh, uh
- I grew up on the outside
- fought for the king with knights
- when war broke out I had to choose sides
- told I was livin' a lie
- by three chicks I thought had determined my life
- and now its time
- for me, Macbeth, to commit a crime
- all for sake of this wife mine
- who has put Duncans life on the line
- for me to take the throne till the end of my time
- i feel myself turning sour like a lime
- to be the king
- I had to beat the king
- invited him over and listened for a ding a ling
- drew out my blade and ended his life.
- slayed
- I watched on as the dead man laid
- thought for a moment if I should dig his grave
- The heat came in dawn
- when Macduff came in and questioned my brawn
- when he asked "Whats goin on?"
- I told him that the king was gone
- and his guards got blamed upon
- now ive got a death wish
- for the next person on my list
- His name is Banquo and its quiet a plot twist,
- from then on it was missbeth callin' the shots
- and when I finally found the guts
- I gave into the witches abusing my thoughts
- contracted some shots
- who proved their work the top
- hes gone and done
- like doughnuts after a couple cops enter the shop
- They told me one got away,
- buts work for another day
- he found home and sanctuary
- but what he doesn't know
- is hes bout to land a gig in the obituary
- as my adversary
- The first man to question me
- now felt my wrath and chose to flee
- Macduff now a traitor to his Family
- left them to die unaccompanied
- so I hope he’s feeling free
- before I come around and end thee
- and from then on i’ll be your new envy
