Marce's TKAM Rap 7
- To Kill a Mockingbird is the book
- For this rap we wrote. Let's take a look!
- Scout and Jem are brotha and sista
- Jem is a polite boy and likes pizza
- Scout is a curious girl who is a diva
- They live in Maycomb in the 1930s
- Scout and Jem try to get Boo
- To come out of his house
- But he scares the kids away
- Miss Maudie is their neighbor and one day
- Her house went up in flames
- Boo came and saved the children
- But the children were in the wrong position
- I'm not afraid to open eyes
- The town will now have to pick sides
- Together we can do it
- If you just believe
- In courage and bravery
- Tom Robinson was walking home
- In the black section of Maycomb
- He ran into Mayella Ewell
- She asked for some assistance
- But Tom gave her resistance
- Then her father arrived at the residence
- And took their hugging the wrong way
- He charged Tom for rape without hesitance
- Everyone in the town was against this
- So Tom was found guilty and convicted
- He's put into jail with his rights constricted
- The trial went just as Atticus depicted
- I'm not afraid to open eyes
- The town will now have to pick sides
- Together we can do it
- If you just believe
- In courage and bravery
- Tom Robinson tried to get out of jail but he failed
- by 17 bullets Tom got impaled
- Everyone thought it was unnecessary to shoot that much
- Racism made their minds stay shut
- The town policemen were frowned upon
- Tom's guilt was foregone
- Atticus knew the truth about the trial
- But Bob Ewell was out to be vile
- Atticus's children were almost slain
- And Bob Ewell was to blame
- They were saved by a man whom they were afraid
- all this time, he was out to save!
- They will no longer be afraid.
- I'm not afraid to open eyes
- The town will now have to pick sides
- Together we can do it
- If you just believe
- In courage and bravery
