Lyrical Analysis of...
What it really was, to my bud Jacob
- Once upon a time, it was in the 6th grade sitin in that chair
- Feeling the flow of that cold air, That flew like the midnight flare X2
- Mins flew, but the door opened with a cough and snap
- A young man walked threw the door, confused but figured his way around
- He sat in the back with the sound of a crack from that fractured boot that sounded flat
- That made him frown, at first I turned around and huffed with annoyance
- From the pests of class with the anxiety of being fought to be top dog
- Or was it just to sit and relax with out someone trying to throw a punch
- Once upon a time, it was in the 6th grade sitin in that chair
- The clock ticked, it flew like a glare with the midnight flare X2
- It was 4th period, the teacher walked out and said (voice of a teacher)
- “Good afternoon, Students today we have a guess and student.
- One of your class mates has a persistentation to share”
- The young man again, like he was like back from the dead this time
- He was free of that god forsaken boot, that looked like stones
- Crumbling to the bones.
- I sat there,I huffed again unsure of glare X2
- Then I turned to meet his eyes and chuckled giving my attention
- He began to speak I saw a twitch here and there and smirked
- Then it hit me, he was speaking his truth. His truth of his youth X2
- That busted him like a booth, he spoke the words of ones
- ...who would be to scared to say because they cared for there
- Looks and not what it really was
- The words he spoke. “Hi, my names Jacob Bryson.
- I’m one of your fellow classmates, this is my story.
- I have something called Tourette's syndrome where
- Uncomfortable ticks and flicks”
- The moment he spoke, you could hear the laughs
- Giggles and whispers, the truth of are world (laughs and whispers X2)
- We are scared of the ones who are not normal,
- Because of this we always turn and give them a cold shoulder
- Just because they where who they where
- Annoyance flew there my head as I started to feel
- Some of my brain cells turn away
- Time passed and one day I walked up to him and said
- “Hey, your Jacob ...Bryson? Right”
- “Hi, yes I’m Jacob Bryson”
- “I heard your voice, you stuck out and
- It’s hard for people to understand that you are you”
- “Heh. I guess so “
- That’s where it all began, the path of a new laugh
- That went to a new blast, we traded numbers
- Then it grew like the seed of a great tree
- We seemed to click like the flick of a dime
- That would pass the time, even if it was a pain
- That would follow you (to the vein X2 )
- He was there like the shoulder I need to fall on
- threw the pain that felt like the sharp blade of
- A great fang, he was there even if he was annoyed
- At the pain caused by the man who threw it around like
- He was a great god who had no care or thought for a mortal
- Threw the pain threw the great fame X2
- He knew his truths and knew where to go no matter
- The shame or pain he knew he could confined to
- The ones who made him grow (like the great vine x2)
- This was to the one who gave his time to stop one
- Life from being washed away like a hurricane
- All I gotta say is thank you, for what you truthfully have done
- Even if they try to despise of you,( keep your head up X2 )
- Remember who you are, remember that your angel who
- Sits on your shoulder, is lookin down with a smile
- To make your frown turn upside down
- Remember who you are, and you are a great person man who
- Knows the truths of this hiding world..
- Once upon a time, it was in the 6th grade sitin in that chair
- Feeling the flow of that cold air, That flew like the midnight flare X2
