Lyrical Analysis of...
Real Talk
- I used to be real close with a group of twelve
- but I learned that the only person I can
- trust is myself/ and I carry some secrets
- that I will never tell about that rap game
- that I'm continuing to excel// in and I constantly
- move ,this is my very first recorded
- song so I'm hitting the booth with nothing to lose,
- only something to prove
- to all the fools that think mainstream
- rappers are speaking the truth
- you must still be in your youth
- or contain a lame, inadequate brain to use/
- Rapper these days never carry any surprise
- because they all just glorify violence in your
- eyes but now you should fully understand
- why I constantly hate and angrily criticize/
- on all their shitty lines and UN witty rhymes
- that never contain a message that
- could possibly act as a lesson/ to young kids
- who lives are a wreckage, yet, instead they/
- promote negligence which ends up
- creating traits of malevolence. They're all
- selfish yeah.
- Verse 2:
- I'm getting sick and tired of all these fake
- friends because they all talk shit like it was
- required cause they are snakes and/
- I acquired an entire desire to break them like
- they were elements of an irrelevant, delicate
- weed stem/
- Yeah, betrayed so much my trust has been
- poisoned by dudes who lack a pair of nuts
- so instead of boners they moisten/
- real men fear fakeness like
- unemployment some fake people made me
- drop my expectations so I'm not
- disappointed./
- People will claim that they will never
- deceive but then the next day
- they'll steal your money, your girl, and its peace/
- just some things you wouldn't even believe cause
- you'd get there name tatted on your sleeve
- yet if you were down ,they'd kick you in your fuckin
- teeth/ and these things that I see, are confusing
- as a puzzle double the struggle in this
- life were people act like its a jungle with lies
- so subtle causing me to stop
- crossing oceans for people that for
- me wouldn't even cross a puddle.
