Lyrical Analysis of...
The Iron Trial
- Hi my name is Call and I'm a Makar,
- Which means I can use chaos magic to destroy a car!
- I go to a school called the Magisterium,
- And in this school you don't sit on your bum!
- The Magisterium is a magic school,
- A really big one with a lot of rules!
- My friends is Aaron an he can use chaos like me,
- He got his power first but we make a great team.
- The Enemy of Death was the first Makar,
- a really evil one who's powers were bizarre!
- My story starts at the Iron Trial,
- Where I was tested, hoping for denial.
- I tried to fail but it didn't work,
- Then before I left, my dad gave me a dirk.
- I was chosen as the head mage's apprentice,
- Even at far, his power felt tremendous!
- When I got to the school I was paired with others,
- They were Aaron and Tamara and they acted like brothers.
- Our first month was using air to sort sand,
- Grain by grain don't misunderstand!
- After that we were at 1st month testing,
- Where we fought elementals without resting!
- Then one night a student ran away,
- When we found him he told us his dismay.
- Then chaos wolves come out of the forest,
- Wolves with only chaos soul as they howled and chorused.
- Aaron was so scared, he stood like the sun,
- Then he summoned some shadows and made the wolves run.
- Every one was freaking out,
- Aaron was a Makar, admired though no doubt!
- When Call sees a baby wolf in the clearing,
- He takes the wolf and has to keep it from interfering.
- Of course Aaron and Tamara figured out,
- But let the wolf stay without a pout.
- One day Aaron was captured from his bed,
- So they used the wolf to find him, hoping he wasn't dead.
- His captor was Drew, the one who ran away,
- he really was a spy, with a plan underway.
- They finally defeated Drew and set Aaron free,
- Then they met Master Joseph inside the debris.
- He talks about Call's birth then lets them go home,
- Where they get to graduate somewhere unknown!
- That concludes the end of my rap,
- hope you liked my little tap!
