  28. I checked the clock and it stopped at 12:30
  29. It had melted it was so darn hot, and I was thirsty
  30. I went downstairs to grab some juice or a coke
  31. Flipped the TV off, and then I almost choked
  32. When I heard this awful voice comin from behind
  33. It said, "You cut off 'Heavy Metal' and now you must die!"
  34. Man, I ain't even wait to see who it was
  35. Broke outside my drawers and screamed, "So long, cuz!"
  36. Got halfway up the block I calmed down and stopped screamin
  37. Then thought, "Oh, I get it, I must be dreamin"
  38. I strolled back home with a grin on my grill
  39. I figured since this is a dream I might as well get ill
  40. I walked in the house, the Big Bad Fresh Prince
  41. But Freddy killed all that noise real quick
  42. He grabbed me by my neck and said, "Here's what we'll do.
  43. We gotta lotta work here, me and you.
  44. The souls of your friends you and I will claim.
  45. You've got the body, and I've got the brain."
  46. I said, "Yo Fred, I think you've got me all wrong.
  47. I ain't partners with NOBODY with nails that long!

  50. I patted him on the shoulder said, "Thanks for stopping by."
  51. Then I opened up the door and said, "Take care guy!"
  52. He got mad, drew back his arm, and slashed my shirt
  53. I laughed at first, then thought, "Hold up, that hurt!"
  54. It wasn't a dream, man, this guy was for real
  55. I said, "Freddy, uh, pal, there's been an awful mistake here."
  56. No further words and then I darted upstairs
  57. Crashed through my door then jumped on my bed
  58. Pulled the covers up over my head
  59. And said, "Oh please do somethin with Fred!"
  60. He jumped on my bed, went through the covers with his claws
  61. Tried to get me, but my alarm went off
  62. And then silence! It was a whole new day
  63. I thought, "Huh, I wasn't scared of him anyway."
  64. Until I noticed those rips in my sheets
  65. And that was proof that there had been a nightmare, on my street
