I Miss Ya

Verse 1:
Remember back in the day man we was like brothers
Same bloodline but we had different mothers
Lived 10 minutes away up by Hyde Park
I lived couples blocks from Clyde didn't go out after dark
You rolled with everybody had lots of friends
Whenever we rolled through the city we was blasting 50 Cent
But at the same time it was risky cuz you couldn't pay your mommas rent
You let the drama pass but it came back in the end
You played with the thotties sometimes it went too far
I let you have your space with them up in your car
Your momma I swear she mourns ya in everyday
I still have the memory of crimes we haven't payed
Every minute I swear I can't let you go
Remember the times we shared hits of that blow
Now only smoke I remember came from that pistol flow

Verse 2:
You liked to smoke called it a hobby
Still remember you in that traphouse lobby
You was a good guy tho had good intentions
Even though you rolled with forks you never had that presence
Even maryland and mula and chiefs thought you were cool
All gangs united when you was rapping outside school
But when you were on front street it was a death sentence
They have a thing for their mops I remember it blazing
Just a day before we was hooking up with girls it was amazing
But now you were in front of a store heaven gazing
I just couldn't let you go my hands were praying
I was screaming fuck you god this is satan!
Is it crime for my misbehaving or is it the drug cravings
That weekend I went completely sober dropped all drug savings
Fuck my dreams I said i'm done chasing
I swear for a whole week I never left the darkness of my basement

Verse 3:
You picked the wrong girl this time
Little did you know in this city that's a war crime
You just wanted a female you could holler at
She took your money never got a dollar back
You said fuck it lets go to the store
Walked two blocks body was already sore
Soon as we approached that light turned green
Gas pushed down dude looked off of lean
Then they slow down real fast
Open that window I see the ski masks
Shots fired every bullets missed me
Look down at my cousin at least 3 bullets in one knee
Mouth sputtering blood saying his life is ending
I cried my goodbyes no help came by
Not a single dash of help from the sky
To this day I still wonder why
But that's how it is in my city we don't see shit we all lie
