Imagine That
• Written by CSL
Imagine a kid with big dreams of making it
He had to find his opportunity and try and take it
I remember when I was 10, vibing to an Em track
After that, I was bumping any kind of rap
Walking with a walkman, complete silence, no talking
Dreaming of a bigger coffin when I'm trigger popping
Music can fit any mood and relate to you
It can pertain to you, and help you make it through
A struggle, any trouble you have going on in your life
It feels like yours emotions drift away when you write
The only way you can express true feelings
The music will listen, and begin the healing
City kid, glaring at the lights up in the sky
I can't stop asking myself why i even try
Why I write raps when I don't get any respect
I'm bringing up the memories of things i recollect
Descend into the blackness, unplug my headphones
A corny ass white rappers whose fucking headstrong
Hook:
Imagine that
Imagine life without writing raps
Would there be a way to deal with all the crap?
Imagine life without music
Ha, Imagine that
Imagine all the people,
Living for today
Imagine all the people
Living for today
