A song for my best friend

I grew up in the same white house all my life,

had the same dream since i was 2 to see my name in lights.

went to school with the same friends in the same small town,

that i grew up in wondering when my life would be different

fast forward to 7th grade,had a falling out with my best friend of 4 years

didn't expect that christmas to be filled with so many tears

until i met you,and who knew that....

there would be no way i could go on with my life without you

someone who makes me laugh like a child and picks me up when i lose

not a day goes by when i don't think of at least 4 funny memories

from the moments we'll hold onto until the end....

from the midnight drives to the stupid little fights we'd reconcile with

a long conversation that would end with talking about our latest crushes

and i.... didn't know that i'd miss that way to much and i didnt know after

graduation if we'd keep in touch but,ill tell you what there would

be no way i could go on with my life without you,someone who tells me

when i'm wrong and someone who always has the best pep talks when

i'm feeling blue not a week goes by where i don't write at least one

song about that one time,and we'll keep that a secret between us to the end

that i can sing along with in the awkward silence,and who knows exactly

what i do in scary situations,and if we really tried i bet we could finish

each others sentences but for now i'll just finish writing this song to let you

know i'm never leaving .. cause there would be no way i could go on with

my life without you someone who makes me laugh like a child and picks me
