now a days you gotta know someone to be someone
but I do this alone, so I guess Im just another one
i gotta from the handguns and the handcuffs
just so they feelin that i wanna become number one
they don't wanna hear it, cause they always fearin
that you makin moves and always changing what we hearin
not knowing anybody ain't doing me any good
so i gotta keep up and hope they help a rook
its hard going up alone, from the hood
