Don't Know About Dreams

• Written by

So I'm not allowed to dream anymore,
I'm at the age I gotta get real
What's the point in dreamin-it-for?
I gotta start doing the things I'm meanin-it-for,
When really I'm still awake at three minutes-to-four
Lookin', for the perfect words for this verse
On a page that at the minutes wordless
So put my headphones on and let em
Bring the words to the surface
But writer's block stops me thinkin' what the right word is,
And it's unique cos your the only one who interprets
it this way, maybe Gods given you a purpose
It wakes you up and keeps your alertness
But you still doubt and ask yourself whether its worth this
Its absurd to think its worthless,
Create the verse and then you learn it
Replay the beat and then rehearse it
And then the nervousness disperses
And somehow it's all worth it
