I got school a girl and my life on my mind
like i'm trynna keep it up but you know it is a grind
i've been trying to move forward but I keep looking behind
for something this time that I will never find
said write down your feelings and rap about it
well I need someone cause I can't help it
talk for while like man I felt it
but they don't really know they don't ask about it
well i'm asking now cause I need some help
like I try to climb but i'm stuck in hell
I got some friends but some said farewell
but I guess i'm here only time can tell
How am I well I guess i'm great
like close the gate cause I hate to wait
like I get too close then they separate
You know those feelings can penetrate
I wrote it down well I know it now
they cannot attack cause I am not allowed
to get attached that's the end of that
cause i'm done with this there's no looking back
said i'm done with this i'll just keep it black
talking bout my feelings keep them in a sack
said I was going crazy i'm a maniac
got me running circles like i'm running track
like depression and tension gets in the way
fuck there's not one day when I can get away
miss being a kid when I could play
I miss middle school and the friends I made
I miss that girl met in the second grade
moved away then just let the feeling fade
I was gonna tell her but it was too late
so i'm writing this so I can set that sraight
then my parents check on me " yeah i'm fine "
like my grades are good they do not decline
but my happiness does, not gonna lie
like I wanna be rich but I need to fly
but I take that bullet take it from a rifles
then i'll fire it and hit something vital
my anxiety's a tower i'm talking effiel
but I guess that's life it's just a cycle
I wrote it down well I know it now
