Life Story
• Written by Laura
Once upon a time
There was a little girl
She never had a friend
She was always all alone
She learned to live life and survive
On her own
Even as a baby she learned to be a lady
Even as she fell she fell
She learned to get back up
She never had a doll but always had a boll
You can ask her what's a childhood
Shit she doesn't know
"Hey where's your mom?"
Fool mind your own
Working in the field at a one digit age
Unfair hours and a minimum wage
Getting hooked on something
That scarred her for life
And yes she's still walking on her own two feet
She stands strong
No matter how much it hurts
Doing the impossible to take another step
And when she's gone
She's selling
She's using
Abusing the wonderful time she could be using
To be a child
Running wild and free
But now it's too late
She's already in her teens
And every now and then
She wants to run away and scream!
But in the long run
She was proud that she did it
It was for her family
And thanks to her they're livin'
She supported them
And loved them
And even took a bullet
Must be sick in the mind because at the age of nine
She swam
She crawled
She ran
And never called
Wanted to be with her dad
But in the end it turned out bad
During the journey
She saw sights she didn't want to see
She was left alone as if she was dead
But she didn't sit there and cry
She found the strength to leave
But what's the point
Her dad OD'd off carga
Her momma got really sick cuz of cancer
Got stuck with her sister
Who always tends to yell and say unwanted things
THIS LITTLE GIRL SCREAMS!
Sacrificed life
And dealt for so long
She had forgotten it was wrong
Let me tell you La Routina
Everyday she'd wake up to another day
Always making money to put some food in La Cocina
Then she'd go to work and everyday was forced
To shoot up
And sniff a line of cocaina
