Humility

(Hey, Hey, hey...)

Today Humility asked why we're lacking recently.

Funny. It really doesn't have to be this hard,

People we don't need to, living in an age where flying cars aren't too far.

The tone seems too tense, these expectations laid bare in the air.

so let's make this hate dissipate,

instead of add-in more plates of Ill-informed Generations.

I'm lyrically in competition with it until that tactic actually works,

been clearly only for theatrical kicks.

Simple as puppet shows for little kids,

by old dim glows livin a second life by there next of kins.

Instead of fixin the situation they're already in.

 

Say sure I wish I could say this at times with a little more confidence,

so I could do this with a bit more hop in it.

Get a grip, I shouldn't need it for this blatant message.

Or inevitably everyone's gonna be a pessimist wreckage.

Lets learn a smidgen more Humility.

Straightaway, it comes from oblivious self-hate.

Breakaway from it, learn to love what differentiate us.

Build connections with the ability to see,

It's easier to let things be, don't focus on hyper-reflections.

But who understands to look past these black-and-white imperfections?

Anyone who refers to you as less than or greater

is the real evil, due maker.

Pray all your misplaced time isn't worthless,

The gameplay on this stopwatch race nicknamed life,

too damn short for jealous-fueled strife.

So stop fighting over who's right,

and start understanding,

this is all a part of a never-ending tragedy

Based only on our upbringing and youth.
