Hold Your Head Up [REMIX]

• Written by

[First Verse]

We stand the same ground, but to you,
if we both have a pound, we don't have the same amount
Some how mines worth less, your looking like its worthless
Like I'm just another human, in your surplus
Somehow your the crowds, were clowns in this circus
Were supposed to be the waves,
Floating the ocean til you surf-us
Your customers we're servants
And in line your always first up, Just to get our thirst up
Making us wait, patiently for Satan
Unless were, missing the fact, its blatantly you that is Satan
All your aware of, is the money that your making, If you had your way,
You'd treat us like pigs, we'd all be bacon
Everyone in the real is shadowed by the amount your faking
And pay checks are nothing to the amount you rake-in
Guess its a lot to take in, so much wrong with this world
You feel it's hard to, ever partake-in, the cleaning up since
You never seem to get anywhere unless your mean-enough,
Because Its seemingly Inconvenient,
Which in a way takes away from the meaning-of, trampolining-up,
But if you ever stop and hold your head up, you can't help but,
Find it hard to, just leave it and not try to find the meaning-of

[Second Verse]

But what makes a human better over another?
Courage? Persistence? Or the money you're owed by another?
A girl killed by her brother, Once again a baby killed by her mother,
When was it okay for family to be killing each other?
It gets to me the way they suffer, never knew-em,
But I'm only human, Feel so lucky I'm gonna see summer
I'm shocked every time I look at the news at what I uncover
Another, plane falls out of the sky, should make us, realise,
Life is a gift, we're lucky to be alive, a hundred fifty,
Two hundred, three hundred lives,
All lost within a, matter of 9, seconds, so wasting it,
We just don't have, time, it's a blessing,
Maybe most people are too scared to question,
Either that or they just don't care to question
Perhaps its the way it becomes part of the test then, so people
simply look in the other direction, But no matter who you are,
you are not lesser-than, Anyone else,
Just our stories are written with different pens, So hold your
head up, and embrace your ink, you were made to think this way,
Let your mark sink in
