Pain

Sometimes I can't even explain because I've been through so much pain

 

But nowadays I just man up and try not to complain while I'm thinking in my brain

 

All I can hear is the sounds of the rain it'll help me get over my problems and maintain

 

They say everything is connected like a food chain or like the blood that flows inside of my vain

 

I'll write out the word freedom using cocaine and to be honest with you life is not a game

 

I'm out here standing on my two feet because on this platform I still remain so it's a lot to gain

 

There's no such thing as a perfect life because even my shirt had a stain and I don't blow smoke like a train

 

Peace and prosperity is where it's at because without that I'll go insane but you can't take everything to the grain

 

Nowadays I'd rather sip on this juice instead of getting drunk off the champagne so I'mma keep it pimpin like Big Daddy Kane
