To find what defines my rhymes/

if i say mama had a dream , i meant she really work for it./

So take your time now and decipher what im about to say/

Forgive me God, for the sins that I have made//

All my past mistakes just seem to cling on to my waist//

Like a ball and chain, feel like a slave to the game//

I just want to change, I don't want to stay the same//

And it's hard, cos it takes a hell lot devotion//

My heart is constantly opening and closing//

I always try to hide, try to bury my emotions//

In the deepest darkest depths of the arctic ocean//

Saying I'm depressed, is only scratching the surface//

I tend to ask myself, is it really worth it?//

Then I start to think, do I really have a purpose?//

Or am I just destined to burn in the devil's furnace?//

The stairway to heaven, feels like a thousand miles//

What is peace? It's been so long that I've forgotten//

Is it when the birds chirp or when the flowers blossom?//

Is it knowing that you started from the bottom?//

Or is it knowing one day you'll be dead inside your coffin?//

Often wonder where I get all these crazy thoughts from//

Life proves to be the most difficult conundrum//

Looking for that someone to take this pain away//

Nothing's black or white, it's just different shades of gray//

I hesitate, when progressing through a different stage//

In my life, cos they like to tell me that it's just a phase//

Every thought inside my organ just seems to be disarrayed//
