When the greasers see the blue Mustangs,
Their memories come back as flashbangs.
It’s a reminder of pain,
You wish it wasn’t in your brain.
Even though to the Socs it is a sign of riches,
The hoods still need stitches.
The car sticks out more than a stranger,
It's blue and a sign of danger.
To the Socs it’s a prized possession,
To the greasers it brings back depression.
Even though the Socs do not see fighting as aggression,
the greasers see it as an illegal profession.
When one sees the Mustang,
They are sure to warn the gang.
