Faithless

• Written by

I look at their faces as I pass the people.
Past the evil, the vast are peaceful.
All there the ages, all bare the changes, all share the dangers.
If we fall then who cares but the saints and sages.
There's truth there like faith is contagious.
Prayers can move chairs like they're weightless, but who dares take up arms for the faithless?
I hate that I hate, my palms ache when I pray.
I always shake when I say.
Grace me today, place in my way a savior to save me.
I'm wasting the day on a stranger to change me.
I'm loose like the cage can't contain me.
Why can't the truth sustain me?
Abuse, ashamed, why can't I use the pain to restrain me?
