Cursed Touch
• Written by user25463703
Every time I reach out my hand
To hold on to something that I love
It slips away like grains of sand
Leaving me alone, feeling numb
I try to make it right, but it’s always wrong
A touch so toxic, it’s been this way so long
’Cause everything I touch turns to dust
Every story crumbles, every memory’s lost
I’m like a modern-day Midas, but it’s just a curse
Leaving behind a trail of broken hearts that hurts
I remember the day when I first realized
The power I held, the sadness in my eyes
A fragile vase, a tender flower
Shattered by my touch within the hour
I try to break free, but I’m bound by fate
A lonely existence, it’s getting hard to take
’Cause everything I touch turns to dust
Every dream shatters, every bond will rust
I’m like a fallen angel, banished to the earth
Leaving behind a path of ruins with every birth
I’ve tried to hide, tried to run away
But this curse of mine won’t let me stray
So I walk this lonely road, with a heavy heart
Knowing that everything I touch will fall apart
’Cause everything I touch turns to dust
Every hope fades, every promise bust
I’m like a lost soul wandering through the night
Leaving behind a legacy of sorrow and blight
So if you ever cross my path, beware
For my touch brings nothing but despair
I’ll hold you close, but you’ll turn to dust
A fleeting memory, a love turned to rust
