Philosophy (Interlude)

//Poem//
Death is a completed assignment, life is the test
A grade based on power, wealth, and assessment
Rather than character and happiness
Satan jams in and starts problems against your will

The fear of death stops your hopes for the afterlife
A tree dancing in the wind is a small acheivement
A bottle of soda or pill is a momentary strand of fun
Running out of time is a devil intervening with consciousness
Things that seem so small add up in the long run
And never forgive or forget, like the horrors of life

To soak the horrors up or deflect them out
To leave a mark or to survive
To double for the next or to focus on small things
To die young or to die poor
To die as a good man or one of mass wealth
To be birthed with confidence or die in depression
To be a hero or watch yourself become a villain

Moving mountains is hard with a broken mind
Taken by the depths and terrors of America
Losing your consciousness to momentary gain
Convincing yourself you're good or bad

To conceal the obvious and not depress
Everything crumbles eventually
It is a world of hatred leaving slices for everyone
And diminishing reputation
