The Grove
• Written by theArtofStew
Call it a simple suburb? I call it land of the gods
So many memories in the grove with all my squad
This is my sanctuary the streets are lined with wattle
A place more captivating than the philosophy of Aristotle
I'm glad this is where I'm from, I see it as a privilege
Skating down to grab a feed from the local shopping village
Where everyone is friendly to you, even the coles employees
A place that evades the masquerade of everyday worries
Contact Mr Ritchie or Frankie if he's awake
Grab yourself a fifty and get baked at the lake
Just make sure if the cops come you start to run with some speed
Have a tight hold on that bag, tonights the night you save the weed
The grove's a part of me, there's countless memories here I bare
Having a laugh over good times shared, without a single care
This is my lair, disgrace it if you dare,
But if you do I swear the boys will send you running home scared
This is more than a simple location, It's a huge part of my life
When im here it's like a vacation filled with foxes and wildlife
So if you ever feel like living the lax lifestyle
Travel some miles to the grove, I promise it'll be worth your while
