It was there in your cries, like a prayer to the skies.

Too scared to dare share your demise.

The truth is where I lie, the proof is there in rhyme.

I used to spare the time to prove I cared.

The muse is there in the music, dare I use it to share the view and bare the truth? I wasn't there for you.

I constantly compare myself to their wares and wealth like there's stairs to hell and they're the smell.
