A girl was born in the jungle of New York city

I'm not tryin to sound gangsta, I'm not tryin' to be a hoodie

Sometimes I just wanted to pull out my hair

When you walk into the building, people pissing on the stairs

It seems like these days people just don't care

Obviously, if you spend all your days running scared

 

You used to spend your days out on the streets
