My life lately 's been a lot to take in

A journey, where I'm walking roads, corners turn unsafely,

If I'm going to run, I aint running on the base, pavement.

Going back, memories, never gonna go back writing in the basement,

My life is is not a game, I can't go back just to replay it,

I savour the memories, like I look back like, " look, I made it".

The present is is a gift, so the past, morally mistaken.

We control ourselves, yet self control is our failing.

We promise to save ourselves, yet rely on others to save us.

We define success, yet family's already created.

Sending our lives on money, or leadership roles, it's crazy,

Pain and struggle for a higher altitude to say things.

Stopping this ain't an issue, it's simply the thought of changing.
