A Crow Looked At Me

 

A crow looked at me, asked me what I see, askin' what I feel

Knowin' all I deal, wit', wrappin' up this reel, with, spillin' all my feelings on this stage

Opened healings on a page, guilty feelin' still estrange, my unity instilled with hate

Giving self, look for health, opportunities 'n moments felt, security had given wealth

Now I hook myself to the ground, search around as components drowned

Reverse my heart 'n mind tonight, seen some people cry despite

Having everything in life possessing money 'n delight, access to needles reduce the plight

Anything seduce 'fore high, regressing scared to do so too, funnily I didn't know

A crow looked at me, asked me what I'll be, asking what I see

Growing knowing fee, if I fail at this today, having never seen impact

My likes pale around the way, as I walk not ever saying, deeming my problems as waning

It's raining, it's cloudy soundly playing, prevailing running wailing, been honest with the claiming

Been honest with the paining, for nothing give me purpose now

I'm offering no service now, the pen 'n writers block profound

The garnishing of lies surround, it's when a liar found a ground

To walk upon 'n talk the tarnished, promised brighter lives upon us

 

 

 

As I write this final verse, I look outside 'n watch the world

Repeatin' cycles ride my words, ending off not proud of worth

Easin' was the bible as I talk, sending formulas to rot

Operations made by God, played his name in vain 'n now the shame won't let me live afar

Dedicated to my fall, found success depressing thee

Set me down sedated he, spoke upon my flaws 'n wrongs

Eradicating 'drawls from thought, poke my mind wit' such a rhythm

Judged defining what I've written, said I was enslaved to system

Now my legacy a victim, engraved the esctacy, the remedy

The novelty 'n odyssey, the melody, the heady theme

An oddity quite oddly seen, who he was an odd deity
