Life has a Vendetta
• Written by Shaneemoret
Life's a circus. Share nothing, all about pearls
and purses and who makes a million first.
Us, that's why matter to me, I think a lot about
being what I'm meant to be.
Waiting for my moment, so I can own it, tattoo
it with the letter S for Shanee, sometimes
it really is too little half past late.
Broke my heart when my sister got coins
on a stripper pole, I was too young to put on
the mommy mask, god protect her that's all I
ask.
Women are all about holes and wanting to
be whole. I'm perfect to me, got narcissus
self esteem. In fact call me nar-cee-sees,
please. Look at me and tell me you don't
like what you see, tell me the wolrds not
as cruel as it can be.
I hope god hears me when
I'm praying on my knees.
I think life has a vendetta against me,
cruel but always ending with an apology,
Gave me stage five cancer then later
remission was the answer.
Why do you like to
test me, does it make you happy, to break me
but not completely to save me but not to tell me,
why you do what you do, you wouldn't last a
day in my shoes they are too big for you
You show me a door but you lock
it you tell me a secret and you mute my ears,
how many more years?
If your gonna say a
word you better do it soon, because really
what do I have to lose?
