Power
• Written by Divine
I'm restrained by the power bowing to Eddie Bauer
I ain't no cook but if you want dough you better get flour
Top it at ever hour, he higher than effiel towers
Like I said everyday is war running in riffle showers
Running right past the hour those people they rightful cowards
Filling they minds with bad words, we fighting for the innocent
Fighting caused by ignorance, fighting cause by ignorance
Fighting day and night now we fighting to stay innocent
What kind of life is this, we could be happy on the beach
But people spitting so dirty I think they might need some bleach
I'm not saying I'm different but I practice what I preach
And I believe one man has more power, then all these leather seats
Broken politics they call them knowledge slips. Cover ups
Not qualified for activist, guess I'll be a blactivist
Choking on the power leads to demise by the lover cups
Trust, if you be an ass they look at a donkeys shit
What's my motivation, what is dedication
A life bound to no boundaries, but what is the foundation
A book with no words, but fond to narrations
A combination of nations divine is the anticipation
Where's your imagination
Trapped in domestication makes you forget about creation
No one is righteous, no one can fight this
It's the greed to succeed what leads my congregation
How far your willing to go if you're striving to make it
If you're striving to take it welcome to the segregation
