Climb to Rhyme ft. Lil K

Signature K:
Ever since I was a kid, rap was everywhere I looked/ the Em' CD's I
had, kept all my rhymes in a book/ I was shook, a 12 year old with a
big dream, please don't be a fantasy/ I'll never live to see, success is
something we all seek and few get to achieve/ my family and friends
always laughed when I rapped/ felt like a slap in the face I was so
disgraced/ ashamed that I couldn't please only disprove with
distaste/ I hate this it's lameā¦ where do I search for fame/ I'm stuck in
this game I'm not even playing, I have to find answers before it's too
late/ before I'm done this debate and accept/ my fate as a lyricist who
didn't make it because of an understatement/ but when I met
standards of a poet, I no longer stood below it/ fought to become the
most known and challenging opponent/ there's times that kept me
down but the moments I owned helped show it/ all this time I was
destined to be, your worst fear from a bad dream
Lil K:
Started writing in 8th grade times was hard every time I tried no
difference was made, started listening to more rap music now this is
the position I try to maintain, started at the bottom still climbing my
way up forgetting my failures focusing on the other players one thing
to remember this shit ain't a game tho. Things will never be the same,
I rap to the point when people will know my name, I don't wanna
obtain fame so there's nothing for me to claim, if I destroy your rep
but I'm really sorry to say don't come to me for me to blame it's just
the fact to realize your lame
