In the trenches defending holding on to his own weapon
In the distance artillery rounds are dispensing
So young with the gun but he holds on his composure
In school one day now he’s grown to a soldier

Lil Daniel is strapped, the grenade on his hip
Other soldiers talking shit as they blazing thier clips
In his face where he sits, he just waits for the trip
A soldier moves past him, complaining a bit

“GET UP DANIEL !” he teammate angrily equips
Daniel 's eyes blood red from staring at the action
Looks at his arsenal, comparing with conviction
With the silencer twisted on the tip of his gat

He push the trigger, there’s a delay on the action
Like when your Internet skip and connecting is lagging
Smoke clears; Daniel sees a body lying lifeless
Wipes the sweat from his palms, recalibrates his devices

He’s new to this war, hasn’t received extended mags
So he goes for the head to conserve the rest he has
Just a child on the battlefield training to bust
Voice cracks over his radio, “they’re gaining on us”
In the background is music, Aaron gon use it
As motivation to erase the opposition’s units
Aaron told his friends he’d be the meanest of soldiers
So he keeps his composure, some perceive him as older
Cause while many like to talk he’s focused on the scope
Can’t believe the graphics he’s seeing as opponents getting smoking
He’s found their camp, there’s too many, he don’t dare fight
Sends in the call for a quick, bloody air strike
He hears all the screams and watches destruction
His only goal is to kill without seeing repercussions
His mother hates when he goes to battle and war
Afraid his mind will be transformed from the tragedy torn
Every shot he takes just adds to the score
Knowing he’ll move up the ranks as fast as before
A sniper hits Aaron; he goes down to recoup
Another bullet flies by, hits the ground by his boot
Over the headset, “Aaron, dude to your right”
Aaron stands, big mistake, quickly he’s sniped
It’s an out of body experience he sees himself in third person
One kill away from that gunship, he screams and he curses
“Aaron!” his mother screams from the next room
The child sulks, staring at the TV in his bedroom
Aaron, a child sucked into the screen that he sees online
Just waiting for the end of that respawn time
