Monsters

Impostors in my head with voices, choices forced said.

Retrying for a course of Zen but I'm not inviting those monsters again.

I've stopped praying and I don't recall the last time I caught myself saying "I don't have monsters in my head.

So, I note what is said and go about my own with an overhead.

I lay myself down to sleep with monsters around my sheets again.

They won't allow any peace to get in when I'm seeking to be counting sheep with my pen.
