ItsTheory's Notes
Don Of War talks about his life of crime and escaping the police, Lucifer discusses social issues plaguing lower-class Americans, and Dante talks about political corruption and other taboo topics.
VERSE 1 (Don Of War):
I guess I just grew up too quick, went through to much shit,
seen corrupt cops buck shots, the little jits hopping fences,
friends overdose, others gone to prison after copping offenses,
personally, I could have done life twice the first time,
I was in a drive by, killed the lights like a pro as I glide by,
Bill leaned out the window, shot into the crowd and all heard was loud,
screams, I thought we killed em ,thank god he didn't the thought of children,
being hit by the strays came after the fact,we were so drunk,
off of smashing the jack,i had yager we got back to Bill's, cops looking for us
I just crashed and collapsed, like what the fuck do we do now!?
Oh I got it, I'll just set my car on fire, say someone stole it while I passed out,
around a bonfire, buried the gun in the mud like I was taught to,
so when the cops came asking, I know not to say shit, keep my composure,
and stay above them like a spaceship and I'll make it,just another day with,
the dirty South boys,i just thank GOD i made it out boys,
a breath of fresh air like Altoids,
I came from nothing, surrounded by cocaine and lusting,
for a better life, hoping one day its going to better right
VERSE 2 (Lucifer):
It's sad to see this tragedy of divides and the rate of crime,
I guess it's just an old-fashioned South Baptist state of mind,
it's insane how we can take some cash and make it something,
when so many of us fought hard, know we came from nothing,
and looking back at all the shit, that seems so fucking crazy,
I pray to God and search around, screaming, "someone save me",
it's like my whole entire life's a project like it's public housing,
ups and downs and come arounds, and stomachs growling,
sick of seeing crime and rape and all this bitter ass violence,
and that ain't shit in poor neighborhoods but middle class silence,
to dual-earner comfortable households in suburban homes,
with kids who feel like nothing and relate when words are thrown,
but that doesn't mean shit to me, I'm broke, walkin' roads alone,
stones are thrown, rocks are kicked, we die and roam the globe,
this is for the kids who live in ghettoes and their broken homes,
who feel like they've been overthrown, but still can hold the throne,
maybe they'd relate a little more if shit wasn't to make a profit,
and nothing else to get money for all their corporations off it,
Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis, Rodney King, racist cop shit,
and all the other silenced victims when they're taking shots with,
their guns supplied by governments, and they get paid to cock it,
fuck stand your ground, it targets black males, they forgot it,
and young teens how get shot at gas stations for loudest music,
it seems like the police department loves but forgot how to use it,
and now it's stupid, seen as foolish, wonder 'bout the racial lines,
with shitty education systems, why can we not make a dime?
And the harsh shit hits the suburbs, and they're able to save,
most of their shit and politicians back 'em, labeled as crazed,
are the poor and sick and tired who've been fighting too long,
and get sick of system shit, pissed is when I'm writing new songs,
you see the cluckhead with cocaine, and he's lighting two bongs,
or crack pipes on the block, he don't care 'bout righting his wrongs,
that's why
VERSE 3 (Dante):
I'm not gonna write any wack shit like any other rapper did
But I'm fucking tired of seeing kids called Black Shit by private school fucking white kids
You'd think we'd get a step further in this Nation for fuck's sake
But we only just have more burglars finding anything they can take and dragging and ditching bodies down in lakes
You know the real problems and we aren't solving them, just going on the fly and without and thinking just impulses
Congress being as round headed as some olives, leading to their on demise and just thinking of any deal as repulsive
If we focused on our problems like we did on getting money, you'd think we'd get somewhere honey?
No, because Liberals and Conservatives are hopping around deals like bunnies, and looking at bills like "We don't want these"
Congress Fuck off please, don't you know compromise is one to help this Nation?
So our kids can get some damn sense and education, so they know if they don't work hard they'll end up working at a fucking gas station
In relation, they won't look at potheads with drugs wanting to go Hence and smoke that shit
No more fucking cigarettes lit, no more stupid ass presentations and useless magazine ad bits
No poor family wants to see his son gone in the middle of the day in Harlem
They don't wanna see their boy John in the center of a Missing Persons Column
I know some people call me real as hell, but I don't think you can clearly tell
That teenagers are still murdering each other and putting bodies down wells, and eerily hiding shells
Until I see some action in this seemingly unproductive U.S.A., I'll call it the Nation of Abomination
So I can finally see a political reaction that sparks a productive day, so that we aren't faced with socialist domination.
And we can finally make things work in this economy, no more miraculous spending recovering anomalies
And these raps just don't stretch out to me, Look at Luc's shit and you'll find out the wretched unseen truth of the Thirteen Colonies
