7 Wonders

B-Still man, I chill in the present

so i feel my essence and fill my presence

with the love that the universe is drenched in

But i only feel it if i really stop and settle in

otherwise I'm caught up trying to find it, earn it, measure it

Cause every day's a battle with the ego's oppression

It's hard to find the truth between fear and aggression

I'll get stuck in lust and burned in aversion

Then I'll never meditate and see my real version

Projecting onto people - we don't see the real person

STOP! Time to reconnect with yearning

Find the real reason I want to get up in the morning

Not to /fight for the biggest portion to be the Porsche man

not fornicate with fine women and divorce them

I want the /unending infinite, the whole not the tip of it

To melt in the bliss of it and burst out my chrysalis

I want the real thang - love unconditional

Let it be un-debatable, unleashed, invincible

sitting in a waterfall of light and i just melt away

in my presense weapons drop and hands turn to serve and pray

I wanna see the 7 wonders inside my 6th sense,

So I 4tify my 3rd eye, every 2nd that I get

and high 5 the I and I and don't 4get I'm blessed

2 see the 1 true light that shines in every chest

active your 6th sense with contentment

find peace in the meditative rest

when you move to a wonder from a question

 

life's full of wonders - a lot more than 7

a mind full of wonder can chill and feel pleasant

but fills with anger from an insessant question

so is a greatful mind the state called heaven?

and can a little service stop selfish obsession?

seems to be the case unless i'm the exception

it seems too simple, but hey, that's a blessin

put into practice, knowledge becomes wisdom

 

see the 8th wonder of the world is the infinite

undivided consciousness fit into a limited

mind body complex, that finds a way to live with it

plus transmit, to a ripe ready soul

that is hoping to break open and be remade whole

just /realize how blessed we are that we're here,

not just a human birth and a body that works

but a mind that's clear, a heartfelt prayer

then to have it happen that you meet a true Seer

who lives in pure love, without a drop of hate or fear

and tells you all he knows in a way that you can hear

shows the /path back home to the Self and helps steer

I learned the art of living when I learned the art of giving

used to be a bit ambivalent but now it feels magnificent

every step's a pilgrimage and every breath's a privilege

especially the breath when i chill and see how still it is

especially the step when i'm feeling every ligament

i like high tech, but respect the primitive

ancient and the native ways, gratefulness of sacred days

to learn to live as happy and as free as how a child plays

to choose my ways, for 7 gens away

now i pray that when i pass away, i'll just laugh and say

i lived with passion, i spoke with the truth

i felt fulfillment, i sang from the roof

i'm ready to go because i gave it all i got

i'm ready to float because i know that i'll be caught
